"My favorite is Bocce’s Deluxe Pizza with anchovies. I never knew that Bocce Pizza existed until my then boyfriend took me there for the first time in 1980. We would order a half pie, and then drive up to U.B. and sit in his car in the parking lot and eat pizza. Campus security would stop by to see what we were up to, sitting in the car with the windows steamed up. Imagine their surprise to find us eating pizza!! More than once, we offered the officer a slice and they would always say no until we would tell them, But Officer, it’s from Bocce! We must have fed the whole U.B. Security staff thru those years we were dating. Now, after almost 25 years of marriage, we don’t sit in the car at the university anymore, but we do still enjoy our Bocce pizza.
